Holy Cross Hospital was sponsored by the Sisters of St. Casimir in 1928. The hospital began with a commitment to providing quality health care to all with compassion. Caring for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of community residents has always been our core mission. In recent years, Holy Cross Hospital has expanded and updated many services with new state of the art technology and equipment to better serve our patients.

From new babies and their moms being cared for in our newly renovated Family Birth Center or patients receiving life saving care in the new Emergency Room, to the comforting care of Season’s Hospice, Holy Cross is your place for quality care near your home.

More than 80 years ago, the Sisters of St. Casimir built Holy Cross Hospital with a mission of healing.  At the time of our founding there were many newly immigrated families, economic times were tough and there were few area resources for health care.  Under the steady direction of Mother Maria Kaupas and the Sisters of St. Casimir, the hospital grew and grew to better care for the many expanding neighborhoods and new residents.  Today, again, we treat many people who may struggle to make ends meet and our mission stays true to Mother Maria’s commitment to treat all with respect and love.

Growth, change, and transition has not altered Holy Cross's mission. We're dedicated to high quality, compassionate care, to improving performance and innovation, and to demonstrate our skill and commitment to all who enter our doors.
